Eastern Shore, AL

Baldwin County’s Eastern Shore sits right on Mobile Bay in the northwestern region of the county. This large community is actually comprised of three different zip codes in this region. These areas include Fairhope, Daphne, and Spanish Fort.

Spanish Fort is the northernmost city in Eastern Shore. This heavily-wooded area is just south of a national forest and the homes here enjoy some of the best views of the forest. Spanish Fort is home to the new Eastern Shore Centre, which has a number of restaurants, shops, and a movie theater.

Daphne is a beautiful little town with a lot of history. Residents here have a great deal of pride in their town and their homes. Daphne, like Spanish Fort, has a quaint rural feel to it. Although it is experiencing a great deal of growth, it is still a very safe and beautiful little town.

Fairhope is perhaps the most well-known city on the Eastern Shore. This town is considered one of the most appealing small towns in the country. With some of the best schools in the state, a number of new subdivisions popping up, lavish golf courses, and close proximity to Mobile Bay, it’s easy to see what makes the area so attractive to potential residents from all walks of life.

The cities in the Eastern Shore are within easy driving distance of the coastal communities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
